The Technical Working Group (TWG) on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Kebbi State, has congratulated Her Excellency, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Kauran Gwandu, on her well-deserved recognition as the iconic First Lady of the Year 2025 in Humanitarian Societal Services and Prudent Philanthropy.
This prestigious honour, presented by Moyorkings Agency, Lagos, is a testament to Her Excellency's firm commitment to humanitarian service and her tireless efforts in uplifting the lives of the people of Kebbi State. "Her selfless service, dedication to philanthropy, and steadfast advocacy for social development are truly commendable," said Comrade Nasiru Idris, Secretary, TWG on GBV, Kebbi State.
Her Excellency has been a guiding light of hope, championing numerous initiatives that have positively impacted women, children, and vulnerable communities. Her commitment to humanitarian service has earned her recognition beyond Kebbi State, with this latest award being a testament to her noble contributions.
The TWG on GBV also acknowledged and appreciated the support of His Excellency, Dr. Comrade Nasiru Idris, Kauran Gwandu, the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, towards progressive governance and the welfare of the people. "May Allah grant him the ability to fulfill his vision for the state," said Comrade Nasiru Idris.
The award presentation, which took place on March 7, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, was a celebration of Her Excellency's dedication to humanitarian service. As Comrade Nasiru Idris noted, "Kebbi State is indeed proud and privileged to have such an exemplary leader!".
