Kebbi State Police Commissioner Seeks Collaboration with Attorney General

In a bid to strengthen the administration of criminal justice in Kebbi State, Commissioner of Police Bello M Sani paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Junaidu Bello Marshall, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

During the visit, CP Bello M Sani reiterated the importance of collaboration between the police and the Attorney General's office in conducting discreet investigations and diligent prosecution of cases. He expressed his appreciation for the Attorney General's support, particularly in the provision of a modern interrogation room with state-of-the-art equipment and two operational vehicles for the State Criminal Investigation Department.

The Commissioner of Police solicited the Attorney General's continued support in conducting effective investigations and prosecutions of police cases in various courts across the state. In response, Dr. Junaidu Bello Marshall expressed his deepest appreciation for the Commissioner's visit, despite his tight schedule.

Dr. Marshall emphasized the critical role of the police in the administration of criminal justice, highlighting the need for support to enable them to discharge their duties effectively. The visit underscores the commitment of the Kebbi State Police Command to collaborate with key stakeholders in the administration of justice.
