Dr. Junaidu Bello Marshall, the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Kebbi State, played host to Commissioner of Police Bello M Sani on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The courtesy visit was aimed at strengthening the collaboration between the police and the Attorney General's office in administering criminal justice.
During the visit, CP Bello M Sani emphasized the importance of collaboration between the two offices, particularly in conducting discreet investigations and diligent prosecution of cases. He expressed his gratitude to Dr. Marshall for his support, especially in providing a modern interrogation room with state-of-the-art equipment and two operational vehicles for the State Criminal Investigation Department.
The Commissioner of Police also solicited Dr. Marshall's continued support in conducting effective investigations and prosecutions of police cases in various courts across the state. In response, Dr. Marshall expressed his deepest appreciation for the Commissioner's visit, despite his tight schedule. He emphasized the critical role of the police in the administration of criminal justice, highlighting the need for support to enable them to discharge their duties effectively.
The visit underscores the commitment of the Kebbi State Police Command to collaborate with key stakeholders in the administration of justice. As the chief law officer of the state, Dr. Marshall's support is crucial in ensuring that justice is served efficiently and effectively.
