Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi State, played host to a high-powered delegation of dignitaries on Saturday, as they gathered to attend the wedding ceremony of the daughter of Hon. The event was heavily secured, with armed security personnel deployed from the airport to the wedding venue, a distance of about 13 kilometers. Security personnel from Abuja and other states, attached to the VIPs, were also present.

Other high-profile Nigerians, including dignitaries from various walks of life, graced the occasion. Our correspondent will provide more details on the wedding ceremony in subsequent reports.
