Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, Unveils N580.32 Billion 2025 Budget

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has presented a whopping N580.32 billion budget for the 2025 fiscal year to the state assembly, christened "Budget of Economic and Infrastructural Consolidation". This ambitious budget aims to propel the state's economy and infrastructural development, with a significant allocation of N453 billion for capital projects and N127 billion for recurrent expenditure.

The proposed budget marks a substantial increase from the 2024 budget, which stood at N250.107 billion. Governor Idris's vision for the state's economic growth and development is evident in this budget, which prioritizes capital projects and recurrent expenditure.

The Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mohammed Samaila Bagudo, has assured a speedy passage of the budget, indicating a strong commitment from the legislative arm to support the governor's initiatives. With this budget, Kebbi State is poised to take a significant leap towards economic and infrastructural consolidation.
