Niger State Governor Redeems Pledge to Universities, Supports Education

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has fulfilled his promise to support education in the state by donating N500 million to Abdullahi Kure University (AKUM) and N250 million to Newgate University. During a ceremony at the government house in Minna, Governor Bago presented cheques to representatives of the institutions.

The Pro-Chancellor of AKUM, Prof. Mohammed Kuta Yahaya, expressed gratitude to Governor Bago for his support and presented a report on livestock development in Nigeria and the master plan for the Abdulsalami Abubakar University of Agriculture and Climate Action in Mokwa.

This move demonstrates Governor Bago's commitment to education and development in Niger State, aligning with his administration's goals.
