The newly appointed Head of Service for Kebbi State, Alhaji Malami Muhammad Shekare, has urged media practitioners to support and guide him in achieving a vibrant, robust, and dignified civil service in the state. As the top civil servant, Shekare made this appeal on Monday when Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Sarki, led journalists to congratulate him on his appointment at his office in Birnin Kebbi.
Alhaji Shekare acknowledged journalists as his long-time working partners, whose friendship and guidance have facilitated his success and excellence throughout his civil service career. He expressed gratitude for their support and solicited its continuation to achieve the policy objectives of Governor Nasir Idris's administration, specifically uplifting the workforce's well-being. "I am thankful for your friendliness and guidance over the years; I seek continuity of such cooperation to serve as a shining beam toward attaining our goals," Shekare remarked.
Earlier, Yahaya Sarki, on behalf of Kebbi's working journalists, congratulated Malami Muhammad Shekare on his appointment. Sarki assured Shekare of their unwavering commitment to partner with him to achieve excellence in the civil service, aligning with Governor Nasir Idris's vision and mission. "We have confidence in your capacity to deliver; we pray that Allah grants you the wisdom and health to perform optimally and creditably," Sarki said.
