Tragedy struck in Nahuta, Birnin Kebbi Town, as a newborn baby was discovered abandoned on the side of a house. According to the Kebbi State Hisbah Commission, the baby was found with paint on its body, and its cries alerted neighbours to the distressing situation.
The Hisbah Board is now calling on residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities around abandoned houses. This plea was released on the commission's Facebook page, via Kebbi Daily News, on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi, just hours after the incident.
