Nigeria@64: Kebbi State Governor Advocates for Unity and Prayer

Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, Governor of Kebbi State, has emphasized the importance of national unity, social cohesion, and harmonious coexistence as Nigeria marks its 64th Independence Anniversary.


Governor Idris stressed that peace, tranquility, and brotherhood are essential for Nigeria's greatness and prosperity. He urged Nigerians to build upon the legacy of the nation's founding fathers, characterized by hard work, truthfulness, patriotism, and love for one another.


Notably, Nigeria's founding fathers include notable figures such as Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther, Captain James Pinson Labulo Davies, and Aina Sarah Forbes Bonetta, who played significant roles in shaping the country's history.


Dr. Idris also highlighted the importance of sustained prayers in overcoming the nation's challenges. He emphasized that justice, fairness, and equity are crucial for Nigeria's development.
