The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Kebbi State Branch, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Abubakar Malami SAN on his well-deserved appointment as Chairman of the Judicial Review and Transformation of African Committee of the Pan African Business Forum.
Dr. Malami's eight years of experience as Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, marked by numerous reforms in various government sectors, made this appointment a fitting recognition of his expertise . The Pan African Business Forum announced his appointment, effective for an initial renewable term of two years, following its Executive Committee Annual General Board meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa, from August 27 to 29, 2024.
As Chairman, Dr. Malami will oversee key judicial reviews, ensure legal standards are maintained, and advise on significant judicial matters within the organization's member countries. His role will be instrumental in driving the Pan African Business Forum's mission to accelerate socio-economic development and governance reforms across Africa.
Other notable appointments approved during the Annual Board meeting include Pierre Marcel Bonnard as Executive for New Technology and His Excellency Gabriel Mbaga Lima as Chairman of the Energy and Oil & Gas Infrastructure Committee.
NBA Kebbi State Branch expressed confidence that Dr. Malami's leadership will enhance judicial processes and promote justice throughout the African continent.
This appointment is a testament to Dr. Malami's commitment to justice and development, reflecting his extensive experience in legal advocacy, governance, and reform. His achievements have earned him numerous awards and recognition, including being named an ICON OF HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT & SOCIETAL TRANSFORMATION by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
