Former Kebbi Government House Perm Sec, Aliyu Mustafa, Dies at 55

Alhaji Aliyu Mustafa Gwandu, a retired Permanent Secretary of the Kebbi State Government House, Birnin Kebbi, has passed away.
Mustafa, who held the traditional title of "Sarkin 'Yan Sarkin Gwandu," died Saturday morning after a brief illness in Birnin Kebbi.
His funeral prayers in Gwandu were attended by hundreds, including Kebbi State Head of Service Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena, representing Governor Nasir Idris.
Alhaji Al-Mustafa Abdullahi Bayero, Mustafa's elder brother and District Head of Dallijan, said the deceased was 55 and left behind three wives and 22 children.
"May Allah grant him mercy," Bayero prayed.
Former Kebbi Assembly Speaker and Commissioner Alhaji Hassan Muhammad Shalla described Mustafa as a benevolent leader and stalwart politician.
Incumbent House of Assembly member for Gwandu constituency, Hon. Atiku Bello Kurya, praised Mustafa's philanthropy, noting his passing leaves a void.
The Kebbi State Governor's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Sarki, led a condolence visit to Mustafa's family.
