Kebbi PDP Raises Concern Over Governor's Frequent Foreign Trips

By Umar Faruk, Birnin Kebbi

The Kebbi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed concerns about Governor Nasir Idris's frequent foreign trips, citing a lack of tangible results and financial implications.

In a press release signed by Abubakar Bawa Kalgo, State Party Secretary, the PDP alleged the trips have yielded no significant investments or commitments from foreign investors.

The party suggested the state government prioritize creating an enabling environment for investments through alternative energy, agricultural production, and human capital development.

The PDP emphasized investors require reliable energy, raw materials, and skilled manpower before committing.

The party urged the state government to reassess priorities, reduce governance costs, and foster a favorable investment climate. No immediate response was available from the Kebbi State Government.
