Bauchi, Nigeria, April 19, 2026(Series News Online) -The Bala Wunti Support Organisation, BWSO, has presented 24 vehicles to the All Progressives Congress in Bauchi State to bolster President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election drive ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The official handover of the 24 units of 18-seater buses to APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda took place on Tuesday at the BWSO office in Bauchi.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, Arch. Muktar Jarmajo, said the donation was a deliberate move to reinforce the party’s structure and boost its operational capacity.

“This contribution, though modest, is strategic,” Jarmajo said. “It reflects our commitment to strengthening party structures and enhancing operational efficiency as we work collectively towards the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Jarmajo noted that political parties are central to any democratic system, adding that their strength and organisation directly affect governance and effective representation.

“It is in recognition of this critical role that BWSO has taken this step, to support, mobilise, and reinforce the structures that sustain our democracy,” he added.

He explained that the allocation of the buses was designed to ensure broad coverage, with vehicles distributed across all local government areas, the three senatorial zones, and the state party secretariat.

“We believe this will significantly improve coordination, grassroots engagement, and overall party activities across Bauchi State,” he said.

Jarmajo described the donation as evidence of the group’s loyalty to the APC and its confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership.

He reaffirmed BWSO’s commitment to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Bauchi State makes a substantial contribution to the APC’s success nationwide.
Receiving the vehicles, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda urged the party’s executive committee in Bauchi to deploy them effectively for mobilisation and grassroots campaigns.

Yilwatda, who was represented by the APC National Vice Chairman (North-East), Barr. Idris Shuaibu, praised Bala Wunti for backing the party with vehicles intended to secure electoral victory.

Also speaking, Bauchi State APC Chairman Muhammad Hassan Tilde expressed gratitude for the donation and pledged that the buses would be used to deepen grassroots mobilisation.

Tilde, represented by the State Deputy Zonal Vice Chairman I, Abdulmumini Muhammad Kundak, said the party is determined to improve its electoral performance.

He noted that while the party obtained about 35 percent of votes for Tinubu in the last election, plans are in motion to raise that figure in subsequent polls.
