The Secretary to the Kebbi State Government (SSG) has officially flagged off the resumption of all state ministries at the newly completed ultra-modern Secretariat complex. The complex, commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on February 14, 2026, is expected to house all state ministries under one roof.
"This is a historic day for all state workers, marking the assembly hall of the complex. The SSG, while flagging off the resumption, said, "Today is another historic day for all the workers in the state, marking the first day of resumption at the new Secretariat complex, which will house all state ministries in one place."
The SSG noted that the complex has the capacity to accommodate over 25,000 workers and that all necessary materials and working tools have been installed to enable ministries to function in line with civil service rules.
"We appreciate the investment made by His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, in providing this world-class facility for state workers," the SSG said, assuring the governor of the continued support of state workers.
The SSG cautioned workers to be diligent in their duties and avoid late coming to work, saying, "Governor Nasir Idris is committed to the welfare and well-being of state workers, and we must reciprocate with hard work and dedication."
The event was attended by state government officials, workers, and other dignitaries. The new Secretariat complex is expected to enhance the efficiency and productivity of state ministries.
