The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has appointed Dr. Shehu Ahmed as the new Interim Chairman of its Kebbi State chapter, following the resignation of Alhaji Muhammad Na-Hali, who cited health challenges. The appointment, announced on Wednesday, takes effect from February 12, 2026, and is expected to last until September 12, 2026, when the tenure of the current executive leadership in the state expires.

The statement was issued by the Kebbi State NAGAFF Chapter Publicity Secretary, Mr. Umar Faruk Abdullahi, in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday and made available to newsmen.

"NAGAFF has accepted Alhaji Na-Hali's resignation and has appointed Dr. Shehu Ahmed as Interim Chairman of the Kebbi State chapter," the statement read.

The association commended Alhaji Na-Hali for his pioneering efforts in establishing and strengthening NAGAFF's operations in Kebbi State. "His leadership laid a solid foundation for the growth and coordination of freight forwarding activities in the state," the statement said, adding that he has been conferred the position of Patron of the association in the state.

NAGAFF members in the state expressed optimism that Dr. Ahmed will build on the achievements of his predecessor.
