Gov's Wife's Rice, Cash Boost Igbo Community's Yuletide in Kebbi

In a heartwarming display of kindness, Hajiya Nafisa Idris, wife of the Kebbi State Governor, has gifted the Igbo community 100 bags of rice and N1 million cash through her NANAS Foundation. This festive gesture aims to bring joy and relief to families during the Yuletide season.

The distribution, held on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi, seeks to promote unity and peaceful coexistence among the state's residents. Represented by Hajiya Maryam Hassan Ka’oje, Hajiya Idris emphasized the foundation's commitment to humanitarian causes and the administration's goal of supporting all communities.

"The season is about love, sharing, and compassion. We'll keep fostering harmony among diverse groups," she said, urging beneficiaries to back the government's peace and development initiatives.
Special Adviser to Gov. Nasir Idris, Mr. Osita Mgbeafuluba, lauded the governor's wife and NANAS Foundation for their thoughtful act. He pledged the Igbo community's ongoing loyalty and cooperation to the state government.

The event drew members of the Igbo community, women leaders, and stakeholders, showcasing solidarity and appreciation for the gesture.
