Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, Nigeria — November, 2025(Series news online)- The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Kebbi State Directorate, expressed its deepest sympathy and solidarity with the government and people of Kebbi State following the abduction of 25 schoolgirls from Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, in Danko Wasagu Local Government Area.
In a statement, NOA condemned the act, describing it as a direct assault on shared values, the future, and the peace of the community. The agency emphasized the need for unity and support, with State Director Muhammed Nasir Karofi urging collective action and patriotism.
“The NOA stands ready to mobilize community support and confidence‑building measures to ensure the safe return of our girls,” Karofi said.
NOA commended the Kebbi State Government’s commitment to securing lives and property and urged citizens to cooperate fully with security agencies and the government. The agency also called on residents to be vigilant, report suspicious activities, and engage in community actions to reduce vulnerabilities to attacks.
It added that it will continue to rally support for the government and security forces to overcome the challenges and ensure the safe return of the abducted girls.
