The site supervisor of the ongoing Warji general hospital project, Mr. Balami Samson, has assured that the new 150-bed facility will be completed within one month. Speaking during an inspection tour by journalists to projects executed by the Bala Mohammed administration across Bauchi State, Samson said the hospital is already 80 percent complete.
"All modern equipment is being used in the construction, and once completed, this hospital will go a long way in addressing the health challenges of the people in Warji local government area," Samson said. The hospital's completion is expected to significantly improve healthcare services in the area.
The journalists' tour was aimed at monitoring projects awarded by Governor Bala Mohammed. The Chairman of Warji Local Government Area, Hon. Aminu Barmini, commended the governor for executing life-changing projects in the local government. "The administration has awarded several projects, including the construction of the 19km road from Warji to Gwaram, the District Head of Warji's Palace, the Burarana-Dabo road, erosion control project, a new hospital in Miya, Dabo village head Palace's construction, and Juma’at mosques, among others," Barmini said.
Residents of the area also expressed appreciation to the governor for the newly completed 5km Burarana-Dabo road. "We honestly have nothing to say to the governor except gratitude. It used to take us three hours to pass this road, but now we cover it in just a few minutes. The governor has built us a road with a big erosion control culvert. Thank you very much," said Zubairu Muhammad, a resident of Dabo Ward.
The Bauchi State Commissioner for Information, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman, explained that the journalists' tour was to monitor projects awarded by the state governor. The tour demonstrated the government's commitment to transparency and accountability in project execution.
