Rep. Soro Distributes 2,000 Bags Of Free Fertilizer To Boost Farming In Darazo-Ganjuwa

The lawmaker representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, has distributed at least 2,000 bags of free NPK (15-15-15) fertilizer to support agricultural productivity across his constituency.

The beneficiaries include farmers, hamlet heads, village heads, district heads, party leaders, party stakeholders, MMS coordinators, Imams and pastors across the 22 federal wards of the constituency.
Speaking during the inspectioj of the distribution exercise in Darazo-Ganjuwa, yesterday, Hon. Soro noted since 2020, he has institutionalised the distribution of free fertilizer during both wet and dry seasons to enhance food production and empower farmers in his constituency.

"I was joined by PDP state women leader, Haj. Hauwa Fulani, PDP zonal chairman, Bunun Siyi and local government party chairmen of Darazo and Ganjuwa, who emphasised the need for the distribution committee to ensure a hitch free distribution and prioritise hard-to reach areas," he said. 

Soro also recalled the launch of his MMS - Young Millionaires in Agriculture (YOMA) initiative in May 2025, which trained and empowered 125 youths to become millionaires in agriculture.
He added that each participant received free inputs of 5 bags of fertiliser, 4 litres of herbicides, a bag of improved seeds, a spraying machine and farm clearance fee. 

"We shall remain unrelenting in our commitments to increase the agricultural productivity of Darazo-Ganjuwa federal constituency - Insha Allah," the lawmaker affirmed.
