The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, alongside his Deputy, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida, and the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, attended the funeral prayer of the late Khadi Usman Abdullahi S/Kudu of the Sharia Court of Appeal on Monday.

The funeral prayer, held at the Emir's Palace in Birnin Kebbi, drew hundreds of sympathizers, including family members, friends, and colleagues of the deceased. Governor Idris prayed for the deceased, saying, "May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus."

The Governor's presence at the funeral prayer demonstrated his respect for the late Khadi and his commitment to paying tribute to individuals who have made significant contributions to the state's judiciary. Khadi Usman Abdullahi passed away on Sunday night at his residence in Birnin Kebbi.

Special prayers were also offered for the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, who died on the same Sunday in London. The Governor's condolences to the family of the late Khadi and the Muslim community reflect the strong bonds within the state's leadership.

The attendance of the Governor, Deputy Governor, and the Emir of Gwandu at the funeral prayer highlights the esteem in which the late Khadi was held in the state.
