"Taraba State Govt Donates N50m to Niger State Flood Victims"

A delegation from Taraba State government, led by Senator Manu Haruna, representing Taraba Central, paid a condolence visit to the Government House in Minna, Niger State, to express sympathy with the government and people of Niger State over the recent Mokwa flood disaster.

During the visit, Senator Haruna described the flood as a monumental loss and a national disaster, saying Taraba State government shares in the grief of the government and people of Niger State, especially the affected families. "We are here to extend the condolences of the Taraba State Government over the flood disaster to the government and people of Niger State," he said.

As a token of their sympathy, the Taraba State government donated N50 million to support the victims of the flood disaster. Senator Haruna emphasized that the donation is a gesture of solidarity with the people of Niger State during this difficult time.

In his response, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State appreciated the visit and the donation from the government and people of Taraba State. He thanked Senator Haruna and the Taraba State government for their support and sympathy.
