The Kebbi State Police Command has assured the public of its continued efforts at ensuring public safety during this year's Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. The Commissioner of Police, CP Bello M Sani, has warned all Area Commanders, DPOs, and Tactical Commanders to deploy their personnel and arsenal at strategic locations and ensure aggressive patrols in their respective areas of responsibilities.
In a press release signed by CSP Nafiu Abubakar, Police Public Relations Officer, CP Bello M Sani called on the good people of the State to cooperate with the Police and other security agencies, as adequate security arrangements have been made to guarantee a hitch-free celebration in the state. "We wish all Muslim faithfuls a blissful Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebrations," the CP said.
The CP further directed all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Commanders to dominate the State with overt and covert security deployments in order to safeguard the lives and property of the peace-loving people of Kebbi State. "Adequate security arrangements have been made to guarantee a hitch-free celebrations in the state," the CP assured.
Trouble makers with evil intentions to disturb the celebrations are warned to stay away from the state or face the full wrath of the law accordingly. The CP urged the public to use this period of celebrations for sober reflection and to offer prayers for the peace and progress of the State and the Nation at large.
The Kebbi State Police Command wishes to assure residents of the state that everything is being done to ensure their safety during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. The CP called on residents to report any suspicious activity to the police and to cooperate with security agencies to ensure a peaceful celebration
