Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has approved the appointment of 21 new Secretaries to oversee the administrative affairs of local government councils across the state. The development was revealed through a statement issued by the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Idris, in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, made the appointments known in a formal letter addressed to the newly appointed secretaries. Among those appointed are Muhammad Aliero, who will serve Aliero Local Government Council; Zainab Kangiwa, assigned to Arewa; Lawali Target, designated for Argungu; Dallatu Muhammad, posted to Augie; and Mohammed Gawamba, allocated to Bagudo.
Further appointments include Ahmed Zauro for Birnin Kebbi Local Government Council, Mohammed Umar Bunza for Bunza, Abdulkadir Kamba for Dandi, Rabi’u Bena for Danko Wasagu, Aliyu Abubakar for Fakai, Aliyu Dalijan for Gwandu, and Sabi’u Jandutse for Jega. Other appointees are Umar Sama’ila for Kalgo Local Government Council, Suleiman Koko for Besse, Buhari Bawa for Maiyama, Aliyu Libata for Ngaski, Aliyu Diri for Sakaba, and Aminiu Arzuka for Shanga.
The list of appointees also includes Abdullahi Kwakware, who will serve Suru Local Government Council; Nasiru Dantani, assigned to Yauri; and AbdurRahman Manga, designated for Zuru Council.
In his charge, the SSG, Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, exhorted the newly appointed secretaries to work assiduously towards ensuring the success of the current administration and the overall progress of the state.
