In a bid to support Governor Nasiru İdris' efforts in providing palliatives to the people of the state, prominent philanthropist Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Naingila, Tafidan Dakingari, has distributed cash and food palliatives to 5,000 vulnerable individuals in Suru Local Government.
The event, held at the palace of Lamidon Dakingari, was attended by several prominent personalities from Suru Local Government, including Hon. Faruku Abubakar Maisudan, Member of the State House of Assembly representing Suru Constituency, and Hon. Muhammad Lawal Suru, Chairman of Suru Local Government Council.
According to Alhaji Abubakar Naingila, the distribution of foodstuffs and cash was part of his modest contribution to support Governor Nasiru İdris Kauran Gwandu's social welfare initiatives for the masses across the state. "The palliatives were carefully selected to benefit individuals from all eleven wards of Suru Local Government," he emphasized.
Hon. Faruku Abubakar Maisudan expressed pride in Tafidan Dakingari's philanthropic efforts, stating that his charitable activities are aimed at empowering youth, women, and the most vulnerable members of the community, regardless of political affiliation. "I commend Tafidan Dakingari for his generosity and assure him of my support for continued palliative measures benefiting Suru Local Government and beyond," he added.
Alh. Maigari Abdullahi and Muhammad Arzika Danatto also praised Tafidan Dakingari for his ongoing commitment to providing annual palliative assistance. "The government alone cannot address all the needs of the vulnerable, making individual support essential," they emphasized.
The event also featured an award presentation to Tafidan Dakingari by the Northern Students Association and the distribution of vehicles to some individuals.
