Kano Pilgrims to Fly with Max Air for Hajj 2025

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially appointed Max Air as the designated airline for transporting Kano State pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj. This decision was confirmed by the Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi'u Danbappa.

According to Alhaji Danbappa, the appointment of Max Air as the official carrier followed a stakeholders' meeting and the signing of an agreement with airlines at NAHCON Headquarters in Abuja. He also announced that the airlift of intending pilgrims from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia is scheduled to commence on May 6, 2025.

In a press statement, Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, Public Relations Officer of the Board, quoted the Director-General as expressing satisfaction with the extensive preparations made so far. "All necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey for the pilgrims," the Director-General assured.

The Director-General also urged pilgrims who have not yet submitted their international passports to do so promptly before the deadline to avoid any delays. The Board reassures Kano State pilgrims of a seamless experience both at home and abroad.

The selection of Max Air reflects NAHCON's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and comfort for all pilgrims undertaking this sacred journey.
