Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has extended his condolences to Niger State Governor, Umar Bago, and the people of Niger State over the tragic tanker explosion at Diko junction. In a heartfelt condolence message, Governor Idris described the explosion as "very sad and ugly" and appealed to the affected families to accept the will of God Almighty in good faith.
"The explosion that claimed many lives is a very sad and ugly incident. I appeal to members of the affected families to accept the will of God Almighty in good faith," Governor Idris said. He also prayed for the quick recovery of those who sustained injuries in the explosion, saying, "I pray to Almighty Allah to put an end to recurrence of such ugly development and for the quick recovery of those who sustained varying degrees of injuries."
Governor Idris further urged Nigerians to be cautious of their lives, especially in the event of fuel tanker accidents. "I urge Nigerians to be very cautious of their lives, especially in the event of fuel tanker accidents," he said.
The tanker explosion, which occurred on Saturday, resulted in the loss of many lives and left several others injured. The incident has been widely condemned, with various groups and individuals offering condolences to the affected families.
