The Kebbi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reassured its supporters that the party remains a united and indivisible entity, committed to playing its opposition role in the state.
This assurance was given by the State Chairman, Alh Usman Bello Suru, in a swift reaction to insinuations that some PDP members in Kebbi State are planning to defect to the ruling party.
According to the chairman, the PDP in Kebbi State is aware of ongoing meetings by some individuals aimed at mobilizing party members for their selfish interests. However, he emphasized that these actions will not affect the strength of the party across the 21 Local Government Areas of the state.
Alh Suru called on all party supporters to remain calm and focused, assuring them that the state leadership is on top of the situation and will provide updates in due course.
The statement was signed by Alh Sani Dododo Tambarin Gwandu, the State Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the PDP in Kebbi State.
