Zamfara APC Supporters Forum Commends Kogi Gov's Achievements

A call has been made for serving governors in the country to prioritize service delivery and the well-being of their citizens. This call was made by the Zamfara APC Supporters Forum during a visit to Lokoja on Tuesday.

The forum's coordinator, Abubakar S Limanchi, described the legacies of Senator AbdulAziz Yari Abubakar, former governor of Zamfara State, as unprecedented. Limanchi called on leaders, particularly governors, to emulate the sterling qualities of the former governor.

The forum has embarked on a tour of northern states to showcase the achievements of Senator AbdulAziz Yari Abubakar. According to Limanchi, the aim is to inform people about the former governor's achievements, which are verifiable and have left a lasting impact on Zamfara State.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comr. Ademu Seidu, lauded the initiative by the forum to promote peace and celebrate good leadership. He assured the council's collaboration and participation in the forthcoming Abuja event to honor Senator AbdulAziz Yari Abubakar.


Comr. Ademu praised Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo's peaceful disposition to governance and commended him for delivering dividends of democracy to the people. He described the governor's administration as one that is doing well in all areas of governance, commending him for human and infrastructural development across the state.

The highlight of the visit was the official presentation of the profile of Senator AbdulAziz Yari Abubakar and his achievements to the Kogi State Council Chairman of the NUJ.
