Tragedy struck Niger State on Tuesday evening when the chairman of Katcha Local Government Area, Danlami Abdullahi Saku, lost his life in a road accident along the Minna-Suleja highway. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. near Kwakwuti while he was traveling to Abuja.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing it as a painful event for the state. He extended condolences to the bereaved family, residents of Katcha, and the entire Niger State community.
