Niger State Mourns Loss of Katcha Council Chairman in Fatal Road Accident

Tragedy struck Niger State on Tuesday evening when the chairman of Katcha Local Government Area, Danlami Abdullahi Saku, lost his life in a road accident along the Minna-Suleja highway. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. near Kwakwuti while he was traveling to Abuja.

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing it as a painful event for the state. He extended condolences to the bereaved family, residents of Katcha, and the entire Niger State community. The governor urged the people to find solace in their faith during this challenging time, acknowledging life's transient nature.

This tragic incident is a stark reminder of the dangers that lurk on Nigerian roads. Just recently, at least 45 people lost their lives in a tragic accident along the Agaie-Bida road in Niger State .
