Zuru Local Government Chairman Donates Vehicle to NDLEA to Combat Drug Abuse

The Chairman of Zuru Local Government Council, Hon. Muhammad Bala Isah, has donated a Golf vehicle to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Zuru area command office. This generous gesture aims to support the agency's efforts in combating drug trafficking, dealing, consumption and substance abuse in the community.

Chairman Isah's passion for a drug-free society drove his decision to empower NDLEA personnel under his watch. He urged the agency not to relent in their fight against drug abuse, emphasizing its role in perpetuating crimes in Kebbi State and beyond. "Abuse of drug substances causes a lot of crimes in our dear state and country in general," he noted.

Dahiru Hamma-Adama, Chief Superintendent of Narcotics (CSN) and Area Commander of Zuru, expressed the agency's gratitude through an appreciation letter from Kebbi State Commander Rabi'u Abdullahi Sokoto. The letter assured that National Chairman Brigadier General Buba Marwa would be informed of the chairman's gesture.

CSN Hamma-Adama praised the people of Zuru Emirate for their commitment to fighting drug substance abuse and appealed for maximum support for NDLEA personnel in discharging their duties nationwide. He also thanked Chairman Isah and the Zuru community for their cordial relationship with the agency and prayed for its continuation.

This donation demonstrates the local government's commitment to addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse in Zuru and its environs. By supporting NDLEA's efforts, Chairman Isah hopes to create a safer, healthier community for all.
