Residents living opposite the newly constructed ultra-modern state secretariat area have commended Architect Manir Musa Jega, Managing Director of M-TECH Universal Concepts Construction Company Limited, for installing a solar energy power system in Masjid Mi'raj.

According to Malam Faruk Muhammad, mosque committee leader and resident of the area, the community is grateful for the gesture. "The installation has resolved the mosque's electricity supply issue and provided an alternative source of drinking water for residents," he said.

Malam Faruk Muhammad explained that the solar power system, comprising six 300-watt panels, will benefit the community. "With this installation, our people will have access to clean drinking water in their homes."

He urged community members to take ownership of the solar-powered installation through maintenance and proper utilization, and to remain vigilant to prevent vandalism or theft.

Engr. Sa'adu Haliru Sarki, who installed the solar system, provided guidance on maintenance to the equipment's custodians. "The solar system is high-voltage equipment with six 300-watt panels," he explained. "Adhering to maintenance rules ensures its longevity."

Engr. Sarki cautioned against using iron, heaters, or electrical appliances beyond the solar system's capacity. "Proper maintenance will extend the system's lifespan," he emphasized.

This generous donation has provided a reliable source of electricity and clean drinking water for the community, enhancing the overall wellbeing of residents.
