In honor of Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's 64th birthday, the QAT Foundation, led by CEO Hajiya Halimat Tejuosho Adenike, has awarded scholarships to 370 deserving individuals. The recipients include 150 out-of-school children at the primary level, 150 at the secondary level, and 70 undergraduate students at tertiary institutions.
At the award ceremony held at Luchia Hotel in Kaduna, Hajiya Tejuosho highlighted education's crucial role in breaking poverty cycles and promoting social equity. The foundation's dedication to bridging Nigeria's educational gap focuses on people living with disabilities and out-of-school children.
Beneficiaries Aminu Ibrahim, a primary school level expressed joy and relief, saying, "I'm so happy to receive this scholarship. It means I can continue my education and achieve my dreams." Josephine Kazah, a secondary school echoed similar sentiments, "This scholarship is a blessing. I promise to work hard and make the most of this opportunity."
Temidare Shakira Lawal, an undergraduate beneficiary, thanked the foundation, stating, "This scholarship has eased the financial burden on my family. I'm grateful for QAT Foundation's investment in my future."
The QAT Foundation's initiative aims to provide opportunities for those denied access to quality education, inspiring selflessness and generosity in others. Senator Tinubu's legacy serves as a shining example of leadership, integrity, and service to humanity.
