Kebbi House Committee on Lands, Housing Expresses Satisfaction with Central Motor Park Progress

The Kebbi House Committee on Lands and Housing, led by Hon. Nuradeen Usman Kangiwa, conducted an oversight visit to Birnin Kebbi Central Market and the newly constructed Modern Motor Park. The committee expressed satisfaction with the project's progress, praising the contractor, state ministry of works site engineers, and the handling company for executing quality job.

Hon. Kangiwa noted that the reconstructed motor park can now compete with any in the federation. The committee also interacted with market management and traders' union leaders, identifying challenges and suggesting solutions. They promised to assist in addressing the issues.

The committee commended Governor Nasir Idris for awarding the reconstruction contract and consolidating transport unions, including NURTW and NATO, to enhance security and safety.

This development demonstrates the committee's commitment to effective governance and public welfare.
