Bauchi Governor Swears In New Commissioner, Advisers, Permanent Commissioner's

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has expanded his executive team with the swearing-in of a new Commissioner, five Special Advisers, and two Permanent Commissioners, aimed at bolstering governance and enhancing public service delivery.

The inauguration ceremony, held on Thursday in Bauchi, marked a significant step in the governor's efforts to reinforce institutional efficiency and improve governance structures.

"We must be impatient collectively, not just me, because my time is limited. Many of you will return to the trenches for the next phase as interested stakeholders," Governor Mohammed said, emphasizing the need for urgent and collective action.
The newly appointed officials include Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim as Commissioner for Education, and five Special Advisers: Halima Ibrahim Dimis, Special Adviser on the Nigeria for Women Project and Women Affairs; retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police Sani Usman Mohammed, Chief Security Adviser; Hassana Arkila, Special Adviser on Empowerment; Ahmed Tijjani Baba, Special Adviser on Social Reorientation; and Sha’awanatu Yusuf, Special Adviser to the State Action Committee on Gender-Based Violence.
Yusuf Ibrahim and Nasiru Mohammed Yalwa were also sworn in for a second term as Permanent Commissioners in the State Civil Service Commission.

"The appointments are part of our administration's efforts to deepen governance structures and improve service delivery," Governor Mohammed stated, reaffirming his commitment to transparency, equity, and justice.

The Governor urged the appointees to uphold the rule of law and discharge their duties with integrity and professionalism, working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive socio-economic development.
Commissioner for Education, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, expressed gratitude for the trust placed in them, pledging their loyalty and dedication to advancing the administration's vision.

"We are committed to working tirelessly to ensure inclusive growth and sustainable development in Bauchi State," he said.
