The Bola Tinubu Support Organization (BTSO) has expressed profound joy over the successful rescue of the Maga Secondary School girls in Kebbi State, praising the efforts of the Kebbi State Government, the Federal Government, and security agencies.
"This development is a source of great happiness to the entire people of Kebbi State and Nigeria at large," said Engr. Adamu Attahiru, Kebbi State Coordinator of BTSO, during a press briefing.
"We congratulate the Governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, as well as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the former Governor of Kebbi State, the Minister for Budget and Economic Planning, Sen. Atiku Bagudu, for this remarkable achievement."
Attahiru emphasized that security challenges in Nigeria should not be politicized or viewed through an ethnic or religious lens, noting that the perpetrators of such acts spare no one.
"The issue of security challenges bedeviling our great country is beyond any form of political mockery or religious/ethnic bigotry," he said. "We must therefore devoid of our ethno-religious divide or political affiliation join the present government's deliberate effort in curbing the security challenges."
The BTSO coordinator prayed for a lasting end to insecurity in Kebbi State and across Nigeria, and commended the security agencies for their efforts in ensuring peace and stability in the nation.
