36 Nursing Students Matriculate at Umar Bin Khaddab College, Zamfara

In a vibrant ceremony, Umar Bin Khaddab College of Nursing Sciences, Kaura Namoda, welcomed 36 aspiring nurses into its academic fold, marking a significant milestone in the institution's pursuit of nursing excellence. The inaugural matriculation ceremony was a testament to the college's commitment to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Barrister Abdullahi Ma’aji, the College's Legal Adviser, administered the oath, symbolizing the students' entry into the esteemed nursing fraternity. Provost Nurse Tukur Ibrahim Kaura emphasized the importance of upholding the highest standards of conduct and discipline, stating, "We will not compromise on quality, as our students will be entrusted with the care of human lives. Academic excellence, professionalism, and ethics are the bedrock of our institution."

Representing the Emir of Kaura Namoda, Dr. Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha, the Modibbo of Kaura, Alhaji Sa’adu Aliyu, congratulated the students on their admission and urged them to be exemplary representatives of their families and communities.

Alhaji Mamman Dogon Yaro, Zamfara State JAMB Coordinator, praised the college's dedication to academic rigor, advising the students to cultivate "punctuality, dedication, and respect for rules" to achieve success. Nurse Tukur Aliyu Shehu, representing the Zamfara State Ministry of Health, echoed this sentiment, while Sheikh Yusuf Umar Liman, the college proprietor, called on the community to uphold the institution's reputation.

The ceremony, attended by dignitaries and stakeholders, showcased the college's resolve to produce highly skilled, compassionate, and principled nursing professionals.
