Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, to represent President Bola Tinubu and console the families of the 25 schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, on Monday.
Shettima, accompanied by Director-General of NEMA Zubaida Umar and other senior officials, is currently meeting with Governor Nasir Idris, stakeholders, and concerned individuals at the Government House.
The Vice President's visit is a demonstration of the federal government's commitment to rescuing the abducted girls and bringing the perpetrators to justice. President Tinubu has directed security agencies to act swiftly and ensure the safe return of the girls.
