The First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajia Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has been installed as the Jarumar Abdullahi Fodio, a title that reflects her commitment to education and Islamic values. The installation ceremony coincided with the first-ever celebration of the Gwandu Emirate Student Association (GESA) in Aliero Town, where she served as the Mother of the Day.

During the occasion, Hajia Zainab Nasare charged students of Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology Aliero to prioritize their education and stay focused on their academic pursuits. "Education is key to shaping your future and making your parents proud," she said. "Avoid being used for political thuggery and other activities that could jeopardize your future. Instead, channel your energy into your studies and become responsible citizens."
The First Lady also donated N5 million to support the initiative and launch of the students' calendar. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Danshehu Bagudu Gwadangaji, commended the present administration under the leadership of Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, stating that the university has never had it so good like now.

Professor Gwadangaji explained that the title of Jarumar Abdullahi Fodio was conferred upon the First Lady because she has exhibited the qualities of Abdullahi Fodio through her activities and propagation of Islamic knowledge and education. "She is the best recipient of this title, given her commitment to education and Islamic values," he added [1].
