The Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammadu Mera, Amirul Hajj for Kebbi State, has credited the success of the 2025 Hajj exercise to the support of Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris. Speaking in Mina after the symbolic stoning of the devil, Alhaji Mera commended Gov. Idris for endorsing the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board's plans and preparations, ensuring a smooth execution of the Hajj.

The Amirul Hajj praised Kebbi State's pilgrims for their discipline and devotion, expressing gratitude for their prayers for the Governor, state, and country. "Alhamdulillah, the pilgrims have conducted themselves admirably in the Holy Land," he said. "We received no complaints regarding accommodation or feeding; instead, all we heard were words of gratitude. No pilgrim expressed dissatisfaction toward the leadership; everyone was full of praise."

Alhaji Mera extended appreciation to the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board, under the leadership of Alhaji Faruk Musa Yaro, for introducing well-organized and efficient procedures both in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. "We are grateful to everyone," he said. "The necessary tools and support were provided, and work was done effectively. May Allah reward all those involved."

The Kebbi State Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Architect Muhammad Sani Aliyu, affirmed that Governor Nasir Idris is committed to improving the welfare of pilgrims. "The Governor has declared that as long as he remains in office, he will continue to support pilgrims in all possible ways," the Commissioner said, outlining various forms of assistance provided by the Governor, including payment for Hadya (sacrificial animals) and welfare support for less privileged pilgrims.

The Chairman of Arewa Local Government Area, Sani Aliyu Tela, joined in commending Governor Nasir Idris, the Amirul Hajj, and the Pilgrims Welfare Board Chairman for ensuring the successful outcome of the 2025 Hajj exercise. Alhaji Mera's sentiments highlighted the Governor's crucial role in facilitating a successful Hajj experience for Kebbi State pilgrims.
