"Immunization, Scanning Exercise Begins for Kano Hajj Pilgrims"

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially commenced the immunization and scanning exercise for intending pilgrims in the state. The Director General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi'u Danbappa, flagged off the exercise, emphasizing its importance in assessing the health status of pilgrims.

According to a statement signed by Sulaiman A. Dederi, Public Relations Officer of the Board, Danbappa urged all pilgrims to adhere strictly to the schedule provided, which has been organized according to their respective Local Government Areas. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, accompanied the Director General to the Hajj Camp Clinic, where they received immunization alongside Board Members and Management. Lawan stated that their visit was intended to demonstrate that the procedure is safe and without complications. Danbappa commended the efforts of medical personnel, appreciating their dedication and professionalism. The Board's Health Care Coordinator, Hajiya Hindatu Mukhtar, assured that all necessary measures are in place to ensure every pilgrim receives appropriate medical attention. "She also expressed her gratitude to the Director General for the renovation of the Hajj Camp Clinic and for providing adequate medical facilities for the benefit of the pilgrims," the statement read.

The Director General and his team visited several key locations, including the Port Health Services for the issuance of Yellow Cards to pilgrims and the Hajj Camp Clinic to oversee immunization and scanning activities.
