Kebbi First Lady Honored as "Staunch Agent of Drug-Free Society"

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has presented an award of excellence to Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, the First Lady of Kebbi State, in recognition of her contributions towards a drug-free society. The award, presented by the NDLEA State Commander, Rabiu Abdullahi Sokoto, acknowledges Hajiya Zainab's philanthropy, benevolence, and selfless service to the people of Kebbi State.

The NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa (RTD), expressed appreciation to Hajiya Zainab for the reconstruction of the NDLEA rehabilitation facilities and the refurbishment of its operational vehicles. "The benevolence and priceless service to the Agency and humanity is highly commendable and worthy of emulation," Gen. Marwa said. He also commended Hajiya Zainab's commitment to the fight against drug trafficking and abuse, stating that her support is "highly motivational."

In receiving the award, Hajiya Zainab thanked the NDLEA for the honor and reaffirmed the commitment of the Kebbi State government to provide necessary support to the Agency. The Kebbi First Lady's efforts in promoting a drug-free society have not gone unnoticed, and this award is a testament to her dedication to the well-being of her people.

The presentation of the award took place at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, and it marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between the Kebbi State government and the NDLEA in the fight against drug abuse and trafficking.
