Bauchi Speaker Empowers 1,000 Students with Educational Materials

The Bauchi State Speaker, Abubakar Y Suleiman, has taken a significant step towards promoting education in the state by empowering 1,000 students in Ningi local government area with educational materials. This initiative, undertaken through his Nabalango Foundation, aims to support the academic development of youth and children in the area.

Speaking during the distribution of free reading and writing materials to students in Ningi, Abubakar Y Suleiman emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of younger individuals. "We are committed to supporting the educational needs of our young people," he said. "This initiative is a testament to our dedication to promoting education and empowering the next generation of leaders."

The Speaker also reiterated his commitment to prioritizing education in the state, promising that the Bauchi State House of Assembly will continue to allocate more funds to the sector. "I promised you on behalf of all Honorable Members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly that we will continue to do everything within the confines of law to add more values to the lives of people we represent," he said.

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammad, who was represented by Deputy Speaker Jamilu Dahiru, assured that his administration recognizes the importance of education in driving development and growth. He pledged that the state government will continue to invest in education and support initiatives that promote learning and academic excellence.

Other stakeholders, including the Chairman Committee on Education in Bauchi State House of Assembly, Dr. Nasiru Ahmad Ala, and the Chairman of Ningi Local Government Area, Nasiru Zakarai Dankasuwa, also commended the Nabalango Foundation for its efforts in promoting education in the area. "We will continue to work with stakeholders to promote education and support the development of our young people," Dr. Ala said.
