The Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello M Sani, has reaffirmed his dedication to sustaining the existing cordial relationship among security agencies in the state. This commitment is aimed at creating a conducive atmosphere for socio-economic activities to thrive in Kebbi State.
CP Sani made this known while receiving the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, who paid him a courtesy visit at the State Headquarters in Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi. The CP emphasized the importance of synergy among security agencies in combating unscrupulous elements in the state.
During the visit, the Sector Commander introduced himself and requested the CP's support in organizing a special patrol to address traffic offenses, such as overloading, over-speeding, and reckless driving. He assured that adequate public enlightenment would be conducted before the special patrol, and that the public could call the toll-free line number 122 in case of emergencies.
Additionally, the Acting State Director, National Orientation Agency, Alhaji Nasir Karofi, visited the CP to solicit his continued support in enlightening the public on government policies and programs, particularly the Tax Reform Bill. CP Sani welcomed the Ag. Director NOA and assured him of his openness to fruitful discussions. He also commended the National Orientation Agency's efforts in sensitizing the public on important issues.
The Commissioner of Police reiterated his commitment to inter-agency collaboration, emphasizing its significance in promoting socio-economic development in Kebbi State.
