The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kebbi State Chapter has condemned the recent banditry attack on Mera Community in Augie Local Government Area, describing it as shocking and unfortunate.
Alh Usman Bello Suru, the State Chairman, extended deepest sympathies to the State Government, Argungu Emirate Council, and Augie Local Government Council on behalf of the Working Committee, Party Elders, and State Working Committee. He prayed for the repose souls of the departed and fortitude for their families to bear the loss.
The PDP Chairman also called for collective prayers to find a lasting solution to the insecurity challenges plaguing the state and country. This sentiment echoes similar condemnations of recent attacks in other states, such as Katsina and Yobe, where government officials have vowed to defeat banditry and insurgency.
The PDP's statement emphasizes the need for unity and collective action to address the growing insecurity concerns in Kebbi State and Nigeria as a whole.
