"APC CONFIDENT OF UNSEATING PDP IN BAUCHI 2027 – CHIEFTAIN"

 A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, Comrade Sabo Muhammad, has asserted that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) lacks a credible candidate to challenge the APC in the 2027 general elections.

Comrade Sabo Muhammad expressed this view during a reception organised by the SBU-Vanguard to honour newly appointed aides to Senator Shehu Buba Umar, stating, "The PDP lacks direction in terms of fielding a credible candidate that can match ours."

He expressed confidence in the APC's prospects, saying, "The APC is more united and better positioned to take over Bauchi State in 2027 from PDP administration." He also highlighted the party's preparedness, noting, "The APC has a well-grounded candidate who understands the political landscape of the state, and a clear media strategy is already in place to drive the party's campaign."

 The director general of the Shehu Buba Umar Vanguard (SBU-Vanguard), Engr. Ishaq S. Dabo, reaffirmed Senator Buba's ambition to contest for governor in 2027, stating, "Senator Shehu Buba has the track record and leadership credentials needed to govern Bauchi." He cited specific achievements, saying, "He has brought jobs, built schools and health facilities, and even constructed the first tiled road in Bauchi."

Engr. Dabo emphasized Senator Buba's commitment to youth empowerment and community development, noting, "His consistent support for youth empowerment and community development has earned him admiration across all 20 local government areas of the state." He also praised Senator Buba's integrity, stating, "As the only elected APC senator from Bauchi, Senator Buba has shown exceptional integrity, especially during crises like the recent floods. His actions prove he's committed to the people’s welfare and the party’s unity."

 The SBU-Vanguard urged the APC to support Senator Shehu Buba as its gubernatorial flag bearer in 2027, stating, "The group urged the party to remain attentive to the voice of the people and support Senator Shehu Buba as the APC’s gubernatorial flag bearer in 2027."
