"Rep Jaji Calls on Muslim Community to Foster Peace, Unity, and Brotherhood"

As the Muslim community celebrates Eid-el-fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, Rt. Hon Dr Aminu Sani Jaji, a member of the Federal House of Representatives from Zamfara State, has called on Muslims to use the Sallah period to pray for the nation's unity, stability, and prosperity.

In a Sallah goodwill message, Dr Jaji emphasized the importance of putting into practice the lessons learned during Ramadan, in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. "Eid-el-fitr is a period of sober reflection, love for one another, and maintenance of brotherhood," he said.

Dr Jaji congratulated his constituents, the people of Zamfara State, and the entire Muslim faithful on the successful completion of this year's Ramadan fast. He reminded them that being their brother's keeper, loving one another, and forgiveness are essential aspects of their faith.

The lawmaker also urged the people of Zamfara State to use the festive period to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed in transforming the country into an enviable position. "Let us extend the hands of charity and continue to promote peace, unity, and brotherhood," Dr Jaji said.

Dr Jaji's call to action is rooted in the Islamic values of brotherhood, unity, and compassion. As highlighted in the Hadith, Prophet Muhammad emphasized the importance of treating one another with kindness and respect, saying, "Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert each other, and O, Allah’s worshipers! Be brothers".

By promoting peace, unity, and brotherhood, Dr Jaji aims to foster a sense of community and solidarity among Muslims, which is in line with the teachings of Islam. This call to action is particularly significant during the Eid-el-fitr celebrations, which mark the end of Ramadan and serve as a reminder of the importance of compassion, forgiveness, and unity.
