Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has commissioned the newly constructed Zagga Central Mosque in Bagudo Local Government Area. The commissioning ceremony was marked with the first Friday Prayers, led by Imam Usman Sani.

In his remarks, Governor Nasir Idris gave glory to God for bringing the project to fruition. He urged Muslims to continue to imbibe piety and obey God's commandments as practiced by the Noble Prophet Muhammad. "I request Muslims to continue to imbibe piety and obey Allah's Commandments as practiced by the Noble Prophet Muhammad, SAW," he said.

Hon. Bello Ka'oje, who initiated the construction of the mosque as a member of the House of Representatives, commended Governor Nasir Idris for his intervention in completing the project. "I commend Governor Nasir Idris for his intervention in making the mosque project beneficial to the people of Zagga and environs," he said.

Imam Usman Sani Zagga, in his maiden Khutbah, praised the three principal actors - Hon. Bello Ka'oje, former Governor Sa'idu Dakingari, and Governor Nasir Idris - for prioritizing religious matters. "I pray to Almighty Allah to bless and guide our esteemed leader, Comrade Nasir Idris, who has introduced Ramadan feeding throughout the state and provided succor to his people," he said.

Imam Usman Sani also advised Muslim traders to lower their prices during Ramadan, in obedience to the Glorious Qur'an and the Commandment of the Prophet of Islam. He encouraged Muslims to perform good deeds during Ramadan, including Congressional Tarawihi and Tahajjud Prayers in mosques. The Imam prayed for the nation's leaders, peace, tranquility, and prosperity for the country.
