Federal Government Declares October 1, 2024, Public Holiday for 64th Independence Anniversary

The Federal Government has announced that Tuesday, October 1, 2024, will be a public holiday to commemorate Nigeria's 64th Independence Day Anniversary . Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior, made the declaration on behalf of the government, congratulating Nigerians worldwide on this significant occasion.


In his statement, Dr. Tunji-Ojo praised the resilience and hard work of Nigerian men and women, acknowledging that their sacrifices will not go unrewarded .
