Gov. Idris Commissions Kebbi Renewed Hope Agenda Office, Pledges Sustained Support

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, on Tuesday commissioned the newly completed Kebbi State Office Complex of the Renewed Hope Agenda in Birnin Kebbi.
The Governor disclosed that he personally funded the construction of the edifice to support the activities of the organisation in the state.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, the Kebbi State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Alhaji Sambo Aliyu Gwandu, expressed appreciation to the Governor for his intervention.
“We are deeply grateful to His Excellency, Governor Nasir Idris, for single handedly financing the construction of this office complex,” Alhaji Gwandu said.  “The Governor approved an amount far above the initial estimate presented to him and ensured the project was completed despite the rising cost of building materials.”
Alhaji Gwandu described the Governor as a leader committed to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Governor Idris has demonstrated generosity and unwavering commitment to this organisation,” he said.  “On behalf of members across the 21 Local Government Areas, 225 wards and polling units, I assure him of our unflinching loyalty and continued support.”
He noted that the organisation has built a strong grassroots structure to mobilise support for both the state government and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.“Our structure now cuts across the state, local governments, wards and polling units,” Alhaji Gwandu stated.  “We will continue to mobilise support for the administration of Governor Nasir Idris and for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”
The State Coordinator also appealed for further assistance to sustain the operations of the secretariat.
“I appeal to His Excellency for continued support, particularly for our junior staff and the day-to-day running of the secretariat,” he said.
In his response after commissioning the facility, Governor Nasir Idris assured the organisation of the state government’s continued backing.
“My administration is ready to provide an enabling environment for the Renewed Hope Agenda to thrive in Kebbi State,” the Governor said.
Governor Idris commended the State Coordinator for his leadership and organisational skills.
“I commend Alhaji Sambo Aliyu Gwandu for his dedication and track record in coordinating the affairs of this organisation,” he said.  “The careful selection of competent local government coordinators will further strengthen grassroots mobilisation and ensure the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda in our state.”
The Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to unity, political inclusion and sustainable development.
“We remain committed to initiatives that promote unity, inclusion and sustainable development in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Governor Idris said.
The highpoint of the event was the official commissioning of the office complex and an inspection tour of the facility by the Governor.
The ceremony was attended by government officials, political leaders, party stakeholders and members of the Renewed Hope Agenda from across the state.
